Integrative Telepsychiatry for Adults Across North Carolina

my practice

Welcome to the new standard of mental health treatment

At Darcy Psychiatry, PLLC, I provide culturally responsive, integrative psychiatric care through secure telehealth for adults across North Carolina.

My work supports professionals ages 25–60 in navigating life transitions, exploring cultural identity, and healing from depression, anxiety, trauma, and grief. Treatment is personalized and may include psychiatric medications, nutraceuticals, psychotherapy, and lifestyle changes — all grounded in evidence-based and holistic approaches.

My philosophy

Pong Xiong, MDIntegrative Psychiatrist

I believe healing is a complex process that requires honesty, compassion, and patience. As a psychiatrist, I offer more than symptom relief — I help patients explore the deeper emotional and cultural layers of their experience. Everyone deserves a personalized approach to care that respects their story, not just their diagnosis.

My path into psychiatry was shaped by a desire to bridge cultures and provide care that is both evidence-based and holistic. I grew up in a home where Shamanism, Eastern medicine, and Western practices were interwoven — showing me early on that healing is most powerful when it honors the whole person: mind, body, spirit, and community.

The loss of my brother and the cultural barriers he faced in accessing care deepened my commitment to medicine. Today, I bring that philosophy into my private practice, blending psychopharmacology, psychotherapy (including CBT, ACT, psychodynamic therapy, and ISTDP), and principles of integrative medicine to develop thoughtful, individualized treatment plans.

Whether you're looking for a psychiatrist who offers depth-oriented therapy, holistic support, or care that takes your cultural identity into account, I strive to meet you where you are — with warmth, curiosity, and respect.

"Dr. X is the first psychiatrist who has truly taken the time to understand me—not just my symptoms, but my culture, my values, and how they shape my mental health. She never assumes, never rushes, and always makes sure I feel heard and respected. For the first time, I have a provider who sees me as a whole person, not just a diagnosis."
Sofia M., 36 years old
"I’ve always been sensitive to medications, and past providers made me feel like I just had to ‘push through’ side effects. Dr. X took a completely different approach—she actually listened. She helped me understand my body’s response to medication, explore alternatives like nutraceuticals, and find a treatment plan that worked with me, not against me. With her guidance, I felt empowered, not pressured, about my mental health journey every step of the way."
Maya D., 28 years old
"Before working with Dr. X, I felt stuck—trapped in the same cycles, struggling with emotions I didn’t fully understand. Through therapy, she’s helped me connect the dots, recognize patterns, and develop coping skills that actually work. I’ve not only learned how to manage my emotions, but I’ve also strengthened my relationships and finally feel like I have control over my life again."
Ryan T., 54 years old
